I have added some new fields (company name, company size , country name etc) to the registration form. The question i have is before the user clicks on the register link i need to check that if they belong to a certain country they are not allowed to register. There is a web service that does that check. I will be passing those paramaters to the web service. I need to know where this code will go. How do i do it.

You will have to customize the registration process.  If you want to modify the core you can find the code in the /Admin/Users/ folder.

I believe the exact registration file is Admin/Users/Register.ascx.
