Hello all I need some help adding a required field to the registration on our site. How do I do this? Currently registration asks for username, first name, last name, display name and password. I need to add company name to the list and have it required. Currently it is in the manage profile properties but that is no good because we end to know the company name to approve the registration. Thanks for the help!

In Manage Profile Properties there is a wizard for adding a new profile property. Do that and then set it as visible and required. Go to the profile settings page and tick the option to require a valid profile for registration.

You can also enable the profile settings option to require a valid profile for login and this will make anyone who has not yet filled in the new field, do so when they next sign in.
