How can I setup a security role

which applys everytime to a specific module(txt/html or events)?

with this I mean that when an admin inserts a event module

he/she should not have to setup the permisions.

Does this have to do with the role group?

This one comes to my mind every day as well. I would love to see this implemented.

Inheriting the permissions from the page simply ignores any role distinction that may have been made between page and module editors. One has to set and apply the permissions for every module instance every time. This is made more difficult when one has a complex set of roles and the person assigned as page editor doesn't know them all off by heart. It would be fantastic time saver if there were simply a specifiable default set of permissions that would be applied upon module insertion.

Some sort of "Set as default permissions" tick box in the module settings would be great. It could even be enhanced with options such as "For this module type", "For all modules", "For this tab",  "For this page"and "For all pages".

I totally agree with this issue with Rob.

Somehow there must be a way to implement a text/html role, an event role, etc
