Hi,

I have a small problem with my 4.8.0 authentication:

Login as Host on http://mysite.com

Then access http://www.mysite.com

And I am logged out. Is there a way to sync authentication between these two domains?

Thanks.

I would say that a better and easier solution would be to not allow access to the site without the preceding "www".  There are a variety of methods to do this.

  • Make sure you do not have the domain as an alias in your site settings
  • Remove the reference in IIS to the domain that is missing the "www"
  • Add a line in your SiteUrls.config to rewrite the requests for "mysite.com" to www.mysite.com
