When browsing http://localhost/dotnetnuke, it doesn't loaded the page correctly. It's as if you use the notepad application when the Default.aspx is opened. Did i miss something?

have you installed dotNet runtime on your web server?

IIS should be configured to pass .aspx pages to the appropriate http handler.

Check the settings for your virtual directory according to installation instructions.

I also am having the same problem as the original poster of this thread.

I have .net 1.1 installed and have followed the instructions.  However, I do not know what your 2nd suggestion is.  How do you know the "appropriate http handler" name or configuration?

I found the problem.  Rezapasha had posted the solution a couple weeks ago (see steps below). 

I had .NET 1.1 already installed but for some reason it didn't update IIS, so once I did steps 2 and 3 that took care of the problem.  I am on XP sp2, which may be related to the reason too.
