Hi:

You should remove from you skin (.ascx file):

Login
<dnn:LOGIN runat="server" id="dnnLOGIN" />

Search
<dnn:SEARCH runat="server" id="dnnSEARCH" />

The default skin is located under Portals\_default\Skins\DNN-Blue
