hi,

i am using DNN 4.8.0,XP   

the login and registration page there is only required field validator for each field.but i want to include range validator, regular expression and others validation on those fields.but i am not getting the textbox name used in these two pages.plz help me for searching these fields.and also page title and page heading are not same. so i want the ascx page also. plz help me out

I also want to change and edit the login page but there seems to be no answer, I do not log onto this blog that often.  Can someone mail me the answer?  klasieb@theunlimitedcapital.com

 login page is not customizable, same applies for basic user info on registration, data needs to meet requirements of the underlying membership component (there are some settings in web.config for default ASP.Net membership provider). User Profile can be configured dynamically using "Profile Properties" in Admin :: Users, including validataion regexp.

The easiest way to get what you want is with the Dynamic Registration module from DataSprings.  It's not a free solution but considering all the features it brings it should easily pay for itself in terms of saved development effort on your part.
 
Dynamic Registration lets you create custom registration forms, apply RegEx validators, validate against data in your own custom DB tables, check available usernames without a postback (using AJAX), process payment at time of registration, send custom confirmation emails including file attachments and much more.  All in all a lot of useful features to enhance the core user registration module.

I think DataSprings module is amazing, but too much for my budget right now!
