Hi everyone.

Two days ago I had a strange experiance with my 4.7.0 DNN site.

All of a sudden (without any modification on the configuration being done by me for at least 24 hours in advance) the portal logo and all my vendor banner logos disappeared from my page. Further invenstigation showed that the configuation fields within DNN stated "not specified". After selecting the correct images again everything went back to normal again. So something or someone has deleted certain content directly from the database, but just the images (i.e. the image names) nothing else.

I am curious, had anybody else had a similar experiance sometime ?

Simultaneously to this two of my 6 News Feeds (RSS) modules on my start state went crazy. Both modules grabbed their content from an external source and instead of some proper error handling they just cause a critical error preventing my start page from loading correctly. I removed the both external feeds from the start page and everything went back to normal again. (This is the thread with some more details on that)

I doubt that there is a connection between both things (missing images and rss feeds) but they appeared at the same time.

Is that possible ?
