Hi

I have just made another portal and have found that the site search also has web search on it.  How do I turn this off, because I have done ti once in my parent portal but cant seem to remember how

I believe that you can only turn that off at the skin object.  See Shaun's post, The Great Search Dilemma

Yes I thought someone would say that.  Which is what I did for my original portal which shows my customised skin object for the search.  Strange, I take it that all portals running from one DNN installation use the same skin objects?

So what has happened.

Is your skin installed host-wide or portal-wide?  If it's host-wide, that's weird, it shouldn't be doing that.  It it's portal-wide, you'll have to set it for each portal it's been installed on.

Sorry dont understand, are you talking about my search skin object or my skin.  If its my skin then it is portal wide as my other portals have different skins.

However, how does that work then becuase I only have one search skin object or do I?

Is there one copied to my portal folder
