I have one portal that has encountered this issue twice.  I wanted to find out if anyone had any insight into the cause/resolution of the problem.

For one portal only, the Portal Root folder and all subfolders are losing all of their permissions (the only permissions left are the Administrator permissions).  In addition, this is causing anything that a file was selected from the drop-down list (Downloads module, site logo, etc) to "break".

The one thing that I noticed about this portal is that there was a /Portals/23 set of folders within that portal's root (and this portal is portal 23).

I have deleted the extra folder and also disabled the Synchronization task.

this sounds strange, I assume there is an issue with a folder name or folder path.

I have a portal that is doing the same thing.  Specifically, when I pull up the site, the logo does not display.  When I got into portal admin, where the logo directory and filename dropdowns normally are is red text telling me that I don't have permission to the files.  I go to filemanager and give rights to everyone on the directory where the logo file is located and then return to the portal admin and the dropdown menus are back.  I select the file and everything is fine until the next day.  Then everything repeats itself.  It's getting terribly annoying.  I have asked my hosting provider, iHost, if they know what is going on but have not yet received a response.

Thanks,
Evans Martin
