Hi,

Would anyone happen to know where/how I can remove anonymous access to the minimise module button?  That is to say if someone comes to my web page I don't want them to be able to expand/contract any of the modules.

Thanks in advance.

In your skin.ascx, wrap the visibility button in a IF statement as follow:

<% If DotNetNuke.Security.PortalSecurity.IsInRoles(PortalSettings.AdministratorRoleName) Then%><dnn:VISIBILITY runat="server" id="dnnVISIBILITY" /><% End If %>

With this, only administrators are able to expand/collapse the module.

Thanks to John Mitchel (snapsis.com) for this great tip.

or, using the more conventional method:

Go into the module settings and set Visibility to None.

You can also tick the box further down to use the setting as default for new modules... and you can also 'Apply to all' modules, but use that only if all your modules use the same settings.

Rob

edit: woops sorry, I only just now saw that you wanted it removed for anonymous visitors only, ini which case duchoangle's solution is the one.
