Hi,

I have a problem : the control panel on my dnn website is always visible. It only shows mode:view edit and can not be switched to edit mode. But still it's there... always. I upgraded to the last release but it's still the same.

Thanks for help.

Hello,

Saw this before created by a client.

This is what I found...

They had set the Page Setting to 'all users' and then added a module - on the Module Settings they had selected an 'Edit' role besides the 'Inherit page settings' box for all users.

Removing the "edit' option for 'all users' on that module resolved it and cleared the 'View' 'Edit' CP.

Hope this helps,

Pat Howlett
