Our programmers modified a premade module. Now we want to use that module on a completely different site with a different DNN install.

I tried

-logging as Host
-going to Module Definitions
-selecting the module
-clicking create module package
-createust blows up.

Just blows up. Is there even a way to do this?

is this the DNN installation, the module has been developed in?

No. Totally different site. We want to be able to take the modified module from one site, save it with modifications and install that module on the other site with a different DNN installation.

The only other thought we had was copying over the specific files that were edited, but it is the code behind, not so much the presentation layer. I have my doubts that will work because it seems like when I first install a module it not only unloads all the files inthe Desktop Module folder but perhaps makes a bunch of changes site wide and we don't know what those are.

Thanks for investigating.
