I currently have 4 web sites up and running. I want to change my hosting service provider. I just not getting the service and support. When you transfer hosting services do you loose the functionality of the site? Does the software belong to my provider? I'm really kinda of lost here. I appreciate any help that may be given. Wes

due to the licence, the framework software DotNetNuke is free and can be copied freely, same for all modules, that come with it. However your provider might have installed 3rd party modules, that have a more restrictive licence applied, check out module definitions menu item to get the list of modules installed.

For transferring your installation, have a look at http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/Blogs/tabid/825/EntryID/1293/Default.aspx or hire a DNN consultant to assist you in transferring your site.
