Hi I exported page templates, have done all the obvious stuff.  Made sure they were in the right subdirectories, XML is good... etc...

But they don't show up on the Template drop down in the import area.  Or on the page template area of the Add Page area.  Even the Default Page does not show up and it is there.  The only thing that shows up is "None Specified"

Any ideas...

Thanks I am at wits end

I'm having this exact same issue. I upgraded to 4.8.2 yesterday, and have exported a page to create a template... but it does not show up in the drop-down (nor does the default one). The .template files are physically present in the folder though...

I'm eagerly waiting for an answer to this issue as I'm having the exact same problem (as it's my first look at using page templates I'm relieved to find I'm not doing anything wrong though!).  the .template files are all there on the server, but cannot see them in file manager or when I try and import a template. very frustrating...I have 95 pretty identical pages to create :-(

Have you all tried doing a manual file resync in the Admin and/or Host file managers - tick the recursive box and click away.

That will normally bring up any missing files, however, I'm also aware that no amount of resyncing would make a handful of files show up in my 4.7 install, but they did turn up after upgrading to 4.8.2.

Hi, go into host settings...advanced settings...other settings.

Add the file extension [template] to uploadable files.

Start file manager and synchronize the template directory.

There you go...you can now see the files in file manager.

Now..add a new page...voila...your templates are visible in the drop down list.

Please comment if this helped you guys out.
