The title may be a little confusing at first, but hear me out. I am trying to create a barebone dnn solution that doesn't include really any of the DNN projects.

For example, for our companies project we have a DNN 3.1 solution that includes references to the DotNetNuke.dll and DotNetNuke.WebUtility.dll, and the Default.ascx, Default.ascx.vb files and that's it. This bare bone setup was called _DNNStub. I think my team leader found the setup on the web somewhere.

Well, I'm trying the same thing for DNN 4.02. I'm using the 4.02 dll's and Default files, but when I run this I get a page that is completely blank aside from a line that says: "Error writting to error log". When I do a view source on it, only the text just mentioned. There is no HTML to view or anything. When I set break points every where in the vb file, none of them are reached, but they are loaded.

Does anyone have an idea for recreating this setup for DNN 4.02. I have tried several things but nothing seems to work. Any help would be appreciated.
