So I’m playing a bit with Silverlight and the easiest way for me to introduce it to the site has been to add the Silverlight app to a sub folder in DNN and use an iFrame to hold the Silverlight canvas.
If my set up is as follows:

Web root
   <DNN installed here>
   …
   <web.config>
   [Apps folder]
      [App 1]
     <html page to hold and call Silverlight app
 <web.config>
      [App 2]
     <html page to hold and call Silverlight app
 <web.config>
      [App 3]
     <html page to hold and call Silverlight app

 <web.config>

So my question is this. What impact, if any, does this have on IIS? Does each web.config tend to ‘flush’ out the current web.config?

My second question is what is the best practice for multiple .Net apps on the same shared-hosted environment?
