I am new all the way around with DNN and have a probably silly question.  I would like to remove the boxes around the basic panels so I don't have the problem of trying to match the length of each panel.  I have used the basic skin that has left, content, right etc. panels to load modules.  How do I get these divisions to go away?  I want the background color to be all one color and not broken up with tables (panels). Would I have to use a whole new skin that just has one area?  If so, which one of the generic skins does this?  For some reason I am not able to find this out.  Thanks for any help.

pane borders appear only to users with edit permission to the whole page and are not displayed (by default) to other users and in preview mode.

Thanks Sebastian, I do at least understand the viewing component you mentioned.  This part simply takes out the headings of the columns.  I would like to make the actual column borders not be visible to viewers.  Again, my purpose is to be able to have each column be the exact same length (maybe there is a clean, quick way to make the columns all even too).  You can see my problem at www.drcraigrose.com. if you care too look.  I am thinking that I must use a different skin that does not separate content?  Which one of the basic skins will do this?

I believe that what you want to do is hide module containers. If so, go to one page in Edit mode, click that little arrow at the top left corner of a module and select Settings. Expand Page Settings and uncheck Display Container. Click Update at bottom. Do this for each module on each page and you'll get containers hidden in View mode.

Or, choose or create a container that better fits your needs.  You can alter the skin so a pane is a specific size as well.  The beauty of DNN is its flexibility.
