I'm using DNN 4.8.2 and I want to hide a few folders for certain users.
I'm using the insecure filesystem because I use links in various files.
If I empty the View-folders checkbox at All users in the Admin's File Manager and synchronize the folders with the Recursive option checked, I don't see any changes.
All users still see all folders. I assume I can hide folders using the insecure filesystem because this option isn't greyed out.

Any tips?

Second (not so important) question If i use the synchronize option with the Recursive option checked, I get an error after aprox. 1 minute and not all folders are synchronized. I've tried raising the timeout in de Webconfig-file but that doesn't do the trick.

Again, any tips?

Thank you in advance for your time,
Bert
