Hello guys!

I would like to set the expiration date of the user's cookie (once logged-in) to infinite. Because I want that the users do not have to retype their credentials at each time they come to the site!

Is it correct to set the cookieTimeout in roleManager of the web.config to 99999999 ? Or could I set it to 0 (zero) to never let it expire?

Thank you for any help!

Regards,
Fabian

Hello guys!

OK I think I got it. In the web.config there is this section:

<authentication mode="Forms">

<forms name=".DOTNETNUKE" protection="All" timeout="28800" />

</authentication>

I simply changed the timeout. My value (28800) is supposed to keep the cooky for 20 days.

Regards,
Fabian
