This should be a simple enough question - So someone please help me out here...I have DNN 4.08 (new install two days ago). I have configured a new portal (I've reviewed all online info and followed it). I left the default info in the home directory so it should be in portal/1 but when I point my domain at that directory I get nothing. My question is what directory am I supposed to point the domain at to veiw the new portal? Is there something that I am missing here?!?! I appreciate any help here.

Solved it myself as follows:

Home Directory is the same as thelocation of the installation directory. Add Identity security permissions for the domain name to the home directory. This is done by right click on home directory, select security tab, select add (group or name), enter domain name (yourdomain.com), select check names (it should underline the domain name, select OK. Then select add enter domain name and _web (yourdomain.com_web), select check names, select OK. Ensure that the new identities (yourdomain.com & yourdomain.com_web) have the same permissions as the domain name for the initial installation. Voila - you can see the new portal!
