1. How do I alter the 'From' address that goes out on all emails from the dotnetnuke site (e.g. new user account emails)?

2. I have created a number of forums that I only want specific security roles to see, however in the 'Manage forums' options page for each forum group, the perimssions are all greyed. How can I set forum group permissions so that only specific security roles can see them?

Any help appreciated.

The most common email address that outgoing emails will use is the site administrator's email.  You can set (or view) the administrator account for the site in the site settings, under Other Settings.  You can only set this to people in the Administrators role.

Hope that helps,
