Hi,

i recently configured my portal ,but even if in the hhtp alias i gave the name of the portal for access,it is not working until default.aspx is attached:

eg : if i give http://172.11.11.11/test it gives the directory structure.

now if i give http://172.11.11.11/test/default.aspx i can access the site .

I do not want the directory structure to appear ....How do i solvw this problem .

Jyoti_N,

Have you made sure that there is a default document specified for the application in IIS? You can find this by navigating to the application directory in IIS, right clicking, selecting properties, default documents, and verifying that  "default.aspx" is in the default documents list.

Take care,

Ian
