Hi! I've installed Dotnetnuke(4.08.02) I have a problem with creating custom module. When I used to create either Dotnetnuke Simple Dynamic module, or manually, create folder in desktopmodules with creating web control. Using them on my portal isn't working. Debugger doesn't touch even first line of code of web control. I think problem is in lack of sqldataprovider file. I have no clue how to generate sqldataprovider file for them. Even when I'm import with the manifest file(*.dnn) it's like that's all ok, but there are no sqldataprovider also, and control isn't appears in module. I have only empty module in all cases. Also I was trying to create non simple dynamic module and there sqldata provider is generating, but there are a lot of unnecessary code, and deleting it is very embarassing. I don't know what to do.. or maybe I make a mistake, somebody face this problem? I'll appreciate your help.

I am facing a similar problem. After creating the module I added a label on the view control. The project builds correctly in VS but if one runs it with or without debugging it throws the following error: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code. [NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.] DotNetNuke.Common.Utilities.Config.GetConnectionString(String name) +47 DotNetNuke.Common.Utilities.Config.GetConnectionString() +38 DotNetNuke.Data.SqlDataProvider..ctor() +83 Another unexplainable behavior is if I access the website using http://localhost/dotnetnuke login as host I can add the module by pointing to the physical files. It also shows up in the Control panel at the top of the site but after adding it to a page - nothing happens. Any pointers are much appreciated. Thanks!
