I have created new user online module ascx and I wish to create a new module with this so that the core users online is not changed.
I am wondering what I should do so that that when I upload the module, the core DNN module is not overwritten. I have no experience writing modules but I know there is a relationship in the .DNN file and in the DLL.

I don't want to do someting stupid so I was hoping someone could advise me on what to change so that this module is considered different from the Users Online module.

Thank you inadvance

Mark

you need to use a custom namespace and change the name of the module and folder.

Please be aware, that usersOnline is still a DNN 3 module and requires DNN 3.3.7, VS2003 and ASP.Net 1.1 to get compiled. you can use the package wizard to create a distributable package afterwards.
