Hi there.

I want to make forms in DNN. i mean i would like to have some custom made forms and when i submit it should update the database. and i should be able to get the list from it. Can anyone tell me how to get it. And i would like to have one more feature as soon as i click submit an email should go to that person as successfully registered for so and so event. It similar to the register page but i want to edit the field in that.

Thank you

you need either to create your own custom module (see tutorials at dotnetnuke.adefwebserver.com) or use one of the available 3rd party forms modules e.g. free Helferlein Form from www.helferlein.com

I don't really understand where you want to put text. Can you specify a little more?

Well Stefan i want to write a parah before the form starts. First there should be a heading then a parah followed by a form. and as soon as we hit submit button it should update the database and give a meassage that you have register successfully. and then redirect to another page. can you tell me how can it be done.
