I have DNN version 4.8.2 and have 2 child portals.  In neither one of them, I'm able to create subdirectories.  I can only create directories under wwwroot.  I also cannot view the directories once I have created them.  Also when I am within a module, I'm able to upload files to the directories created, but usually when I go back to the module to edit an entry, for example inside a UDT, the directory will say root and the file will be something else.  If I click cancel, nothing will happen and the file uploaded will be the right one.  If I click update it will bring the wrong file.  anyways when I go to the file manager, I'm not able to see any of the directories or folders created or files uploaded except for those under wwwroot.

I read a little bit about this on some other posts, however it seemed to be version related, and I'm running a failry new version, so I'm not sure what to do.

thanks

Miriam
