I'm creating my first site using WebHost4Life as a host. I've gotten thier Advanced plan allowing an MS SQL Server database. How do I get DNN to use tat database?

TIA-Tony

Scroll halfway down this thread to find my long post:

http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/ForumsDotNetNuke/tabid/795/mid/2108/threadid/95880/scope/posts/Default.aspx#96217

That details much about getting things going on there. The VPS plans have the same db control panel.

Thank you but I don't see another post on this thread from you. Can you see if it's in a different thread?

Thank you,

Tony

It's the 7th post from the top, and is also the longest post in the thread.. all colour-coordinated as well... but it might not be showing correctly if your forum settings are different from mine. I'll try finding it as an anonynous browser..

Ok yep the link works fine but the thread is spread over three pages. Click through to the second page.

Let me know if you can't fidn it and I'll paste it in here.
