I know  this must be simple but I still cant figure out how I am supposed to do it. Basically I would like to hide or delete a pane (in this case the LeftPane) when I am in edit view for a page (in this case the home page). I have just installed the newest version of DNN (as of 05/05/08) and I am just doing some basic configuring and snooping on how DNN works. Please help.

Thanks,
Vance

Why do you want to do this?

Panes are defined in skin files so you can't hide or remove them via the app. Have a look at ~/Portals/_default/Skins/DNN-Blue/Horizontal Menu - Fixed Width.ascx and note the ...class="contentpane" id="ContentPane"... for the various panes. Different skins may define different sets of panes. Whatever you do, make sure there is always a contentpane defined - otherwise there will be content pain (sorry!).
