Hello Comunity!

I'm very new to DNN and I've got a problem with a child-portal. At the moment the whole thing is run on my localhost under the VWD-Environment.

When I try to set up a new child-portal DNN tells me that the page has been created and everything should work well. The new directory and the belonging Default.aspx is created as well.
But when the child-portal should be opend I only get the message, that the page cannot be load.

First I thought it might be a problem because of the dynamic ports, but even with a static port-number it doesn't work.
To me it looks like the Default.aspx is not interpreted, as it should be. I tried to let a messagebox pop up at the beginning of the script but even this did not work.

Is there anybody out there who knows how this problem can be solved?

Thanks in advance

Frank

AFAIR there is an issue with child portals in CAssini (VWD), that will be fixed in DNN 5.
