I've recently created a portal using DNN 04.05.03 on which most of the pages are viewable by All Users.
The Site-Settings/Advance-Settings/Security-Settings/User-Registration configuration option is set to "None".
My goal was to create a site that would serve up content to visitors without using any of the login/authentication features.

Most of the pages are working great and I couldn't be happier with the results (custom skin, decent graphics, java-animation slash-screen, and a real clean look and feel).

But then there's the contact page...
This is a page that contains a single feedback module (version 04.04.03)  and nothing else; no graphics, no other modules, nothing.

Yet when I view this page as a visitor (without having logged in as host or admin or any other user account), I can see the minimized control panel at the top of the page and the View/Edit radio boxes.  Refresh, Restart-browser, and Reboot-computer have no effect.  When I get back to this page, the control panel appears.  And if I click on the Edit checkbox, it causes a screen reload and then reselects the View checkbox.  (and what is even more scarey is that during that reload, for just a moment, I can see the control panel with all of its options available).

It is a real simple page that uses the portals skin and containers and the only difference I can see is that it contains the only  feedback module in the portal.

Has anybody experienced this?  And if so, is there a way to fix it?  (Other than removing the feedback module which is what I have currently done and which does make the problem go away)

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Peace,

Colt

Sounds like you have the page settings set so that anyone can edit the page. You need to set this so that the page is only editable by administrators.  Let me know what happens once you do this.

please remove edit permission for all users for the feedback module, users only need view permission to submit their messages.
