We have 2 devs working on the same project.  I'd like to be able to work with the code on my machine and she on hers without bothering each other.  We put in multiple IPs in the PortalAlias table.  We can change the address manually in the address bar of the browser to get to our own binaries.  I was wondering if there is a way to set this up in the webconfig or something like that so that I don't have to change it in the browser every time I launch and/or click on a link.  Right now it always gets IP in the first row in the table.

Thanks for your help,

David

Just to make sure  I understand, you have 2 local installs of DNN that point to the same SQL database and the PortalAlias contains entries for both machines.  Is that correct?

You cannot do this through DNN, but you can do it through VS2008 (Do on both machines).

1) Right click the propteries for the DNN web site you are working on.
2) Choose "Property Page"
3) Click on "Start Options"
4) Set the start URL to http://{your IP}/default.aspx.
