I've got a 4.8.0 site that's been on a server that's been turned off for a few weeks.

When I try to load the site, the browser just sits there loading the site.  It never timeout... just continues trying to load the site.

When I look at the sitelog table, it keeps adding records logging the "home" page.  It's really strange.  Any ideas on what to do to get it to load and stop writing log entries?

Look at the web server logs.  Test your site with a Hello World ASP.NET page.
