Hi,

This is the first time i ask something by the forum and my first language is french as you maybe already saw. 
I have one of my customer who have problems sending newsletters by admin menu. What is so strange is, is that he was able 3 weeks ago. So is somebody can help me with this that will be appreciate!! 

First since everything was perfect, I add a new role (public and automatic) so every users were in now. 

He tried to send newsletters and received a bulk email report told him that 35 emails on 36 users. BUT we are 38 in that role group. And no ones received the email!!! And we looked in the junk mail.

I used bulk user module to export and reimport users (I was thinking that maybe we are not active) but same thing appened after.

I put some existants user in a existant role (but only me was in it as designer) and even if we are 6 in the role, only 3 received the email!!! ANd the bulk email report told us 3 on 3 send!!!  I'm was little confused.

SO I looked those three and they are tag as ADMIN...

MY QUESTION!! WHAT CAN I DO TO PUT BACK FUNCTIONNALITY OF THAT USERS... I TRYED TO REMOVED THEM FROM ROLE AND GOT BACK IN. Nothing working... EACH USER ARE IN GOOD ROLE AND LISTED UNDER THE ROLE BUT DON'T RECEIVED EMAIL OF THE ROLE (FROM NEWSLETTER)...

thank you and don't hesitate to ask me question about what I did and not!!

emails are sent out to all users with valid email addresses, if you select "suppress duplicates",  multiple users with same email address will only get one email for them all.

If emails are reported to be sent but did not get through, check the SMTP server, enable its logging options and check, whether they are sent out correctly, maybe the server reported success back to DNN, stating successful transmission to sending mail server only.

Hi again, 

when I send message, I didn't put the NO DUPLICATE email... 

For example : we are 3 in the admin role with good email. If a sent a message to that group, that notice that the email was sent and look at the bulkmail report : 

Bulkmail Report

Operation started at: 5/22/2008 1:01:05 PM
EmailRecipients: 0
EmailMessages: 0
Operation completed: 5/22/2008 1:01:06 PM

Status Report: 
No errors occured during sending.

SO?? How can that be possible???

did you use sync or async method to send out the mails?

which dnn version are you running?

We are having exactly the same problem, we are using Dot Net Nuke 4.8.2 and have a role with 283 members in it, if we send a newsletter to everyone in that role, then the newsletter is sent to 36 people only. It's always the same 36, but they aren't the first 36 in the database or anything, they seem to have been randomly chosen. It seems to have chosen roughly every 6 or 7th name in the database.

The email goes out to those 36 users successfully and the bulk mailer sends me a report as below.

There are no errors in the logs, DNN seems to have decided to send only to these 36 and no-one else. Any ideas anyone please?
