I have used Indoo Grid to bulk add records to the User table. They are succesfully imported and displayed in the Indoo Grid interface to the User table.  However, they do not appear in the User Accounts table for the Admin menu.  What do I have to do to make these records visible in User Accounts?

Thanks!!

You are going to need to a little more than just add them to the Users table.  I would recommed only adding users through code.  In order to properly create a user, you will need a record in the Users table, then add a record for that user on the specific portal to the UserPortals table.  You are still going to need to add them to the aspnet membership tables in order for the user to authenticate properly.  I'm not even sure if that is possible directly through SQL unless you are a storing passwords in plain text.

DNN already exposes the API for user management, you should write a custom interface to import your user data using DNN API. The reason you cannot authenticate is because DNN uses ASP.NET authentication. The authentication data is stored in "aspnet_" tables and uses configured MachineKey value in the web.config to encrypt sensitive data.
