I asked over in chat but had no response, so it may have been the wrong section. I need some advice please on the following question.

I make many if not into the hundreds of banners under multiple vendors each week, these are often in a limited life span, what i have been doing is just deleting the vendor file, but not deleting the banners created inside of that vendor as it is / was my beleif that these ( banner files )  would also be deleted with the one action from the system.

With a warning that my data base was getting full, my mind recalled reading something about these banner files not deleting when a vendor was deleted, but i can not find refernce to this. can anyone confirm if the banners need to be deleted first, and if i have made this error is there a way to tell what banner files are active and or where the vendor has been deleted please.

For now i have begun to delete all banner files before deleting the vendor, this is time consuming and i am unsure if this is needed, any advice or help would be great. V 04.05.03 thanks

Pete
