Hi Guys,

I am trying to create a dynamic page based on users status/role. This page will be used for someone joining our charity. This is how it works.

The click on the Join Us link which takes them to the page. This page has three containers on it. What I want to happen is this.

Container 1 says "You need to register before you can join"
Container 2 says "Join by clicking here"
Container 3 says "You are already a member"

If the user is unregistered, only container 1 is displayed. No problem, that works.

If the user is registered,  only container 2 is displayed. No problem, works also.

If the user is a member of a certain role, only container 3 is displayed. Now this is the problem one. Because the user has to register to join the role then because he is registered and in the custom role, both container 2 and container 3 is displayed.

So, is there a way to get round this?

Any help appreciated.

Marc

You might create another role called

Registered Non Member, have everyone who registers put into this role. Configure the module (#2) to only be visible to this role.

Once they Join as a member, remove them from this role.
