Hey,

I'm running a website on my localhost. Now i would like to access the website from another PC on the network. By simply typing in the IP of the computer i can get to the default homepage, but when i try to go to the actual DNN site ( 0.0.0.0/dotnetnuke/Default.aspx ) it gives a "Cannot display this page" page. But when i use ( 0.0.0.0/dotnetnuke/logo.gif ) it displays the icon just fine. It won't render any of the ASPX pages, anyone have any idea what's causing this?

Appreciate any help you can give me :)

Error messages in DNN?  IIS logs?  Best guess is DNN doesn't have the IP address listed as a portal alias.

check the windows firewall setting in your PC with DNN.

control panel -> windows firewall -> [advanced] tab , click the setting button besie your local area connection. In the pop-up advanced settings  window, CHECK the box beside "Web Server (HTTP). Click [OK] to complete.

Then your PC will accept HTTP request from other workstation in your LAN.

Thanks the it was the alias thing. I had my firewall turned off, but that can also be something that can take very long to find if you don't know where it is :p. Thanks you both :)
