Greetings, all.

This may sound really pathetic, but here it goes:

I have a drop down list that I must use to automatically load a hidden var.

I can extract its value easily using the selectedIndexChanged Event.

My question is: how do I get its DEFAULT value (without having the value changed)?
I tried Load and Init but none of them worked.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance

L

You can't get the value during the page's load event?  Or are you trying to attach to the drop down's load event?
