Hello,

I'm trying to configure HTTP compression to exclude a particular page in my site that contains a module that doesn't work with it on (Open Document Library).

It seems like I should just be able to put the page's path or its tabid in the 'excluded paths'  field and it should work, but I've had no luck.

What goes in that field?

I tried the SEO path:
folder/page.aspx

I tried the tabid:
tabid=121

I tried turning FriendlyURLs on and off but it didn't make any difference. I can't find any clear documentation about how to specify files/paths here. Does anyone knnow how this is supposed to work.

It absolutely does. It was hard to find anything on this specifically, online or in texts but I did find the following on another site:

  • in the "excluded paths" text area, add tabid=xx (where xx is the tabid where odl is installed)
  • click on the update link for that section, not the general update that is at the bottom of the page.

From: http://www.opendnn.net/Resources/Blog/tabid/129/EntryID/16/Default.aspx

Hope that helps,

Mike
