Hi Im new to DNN my site has been up and running for about a week now since yesterday evening i cannot browse directly to my page.

If i go to http://domain/dnn it would normally load which it does not do now.

If i browse to one of the other pages like http://domain/dnn/Links/tabid/109/Default.aspx it loads fine.

I can then log in and browse to http://domain/dnn without a issue, the last thing i remember doing was replicating my permisions to all pages but only my default page seems to have been affected.

I have set the permisions on my default page sothat anyone can view it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated i really dont feel like starting over.

thanks

It realy seems that you have to double check the permissions of that page?

And if you are realy sure, you can always try restarting the application (helps for a lot of things)

Menu -> Host -> Host Settings --> at the bottom a linkbutton "restart application"

Hi Oliver,

I have restarted with no luck. It does appear to be a pemisions thing.

If i edit one of the modules on the default page the permisions it inherits is that no one not even the administrator can view it.

Where would I set this or where would it be getting the permisions.

I have gone to  admin - Pages and checked the permisions for each page and I have granted everyone vew acces.

Thanks

In the Page settings... You see this?  The "include in menu" must be set also!

As far as i know (for recent version), only way to change permissions on admin is via SQL , so maybe thats the place to check (check tables tabs and tabpermissions)
