I dont know how to have the "flags" visible for users to chose a language for the site.

Any help?

check out Language.xml for properties of the Language Skin object (i.e. [LANGUAGE] token):

Token Type Description Values
CssClass String Sets the CSS class used to render the language menu. NB: this will not be used in Links mode  
ItemTemplate String The item template to be used for displaying languages  
HeaderTemplate String The Header template to be used for displaying languages  
FooterTemplate String The Footer template to be used for displaying languages  
AlternateTemplate String The Alternate Template to be used for displaying languages  
SeparatorTemplate String The Separator Template to be used for displaying languages  
CommonHeaderTemplate String The Common Header Template to be used for displaying languages  
CommonFooterTemplate String The Common Footer Template to be used for displaying languages  
ShowMenu Boolean Defines whether to display the language dropdown menu True, False
ShowLinks Boolean Defines whether to display the language links repeater True, False

that is one of the files in /website/admin/skins, describing the options of the skin object.

to specify the setting, you need to add the appropriate option in the XML file of your HTML skin or for ASCX skins, in the token options, please check the Skinning guide (downloadable from Resources > Documentation > Download in the menu above).
