Hi Guys

I recently became a site administrator for some DNN sites, and I have come across few problems…can you please help with the following:

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Problem 1:

DotNetNuke Version: 04.05.05

Module: Site Log

How do I activate the Site Log in this site?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Problem 2:

DotNetNuke Version: 3.1.1

Module: HTML/Text

I cannot view the Rich Text Editor in the HTML/Text module, is it because of this version 3.1.1. I am using on IE7.0 internet browser to administrate this site.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Problem 3:

DotNetNuke Version: 3.2.2

Module: Event Calendar

When I add an event, it shows fine on the administrator side but when I log out it cannot be seen. I have checked the settings of the Event Calendar module and it is set to all users to view and still I cannot see the events posted.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Problem 4:

DotNetNuke Version: 3.1.1

Module: Event Calendar

When I add an event, Event Settings – when I click on calendar to select date it takes me December, 2013 instead of July, 2008 (current month and year), why does it do this?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Problem 5:

DotNetNuke Version: 3.1.1

Module: Image Gallery

Is the a site, where I can download a free Image Gallery module?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It would be highly appreciated, if anyone could help me with the above problems, thanks Bradley.

P1: Login as Superuser "Host" and enable in Host Settings and Site Settings by setting duration to keep log. In Host Settings make sure, log is saved in database

P2: upgrade. DNN 3.1.1 uses FTB3 Editor in an old version, which has issues with new browsers. If desired, you can download and install FCKEditor only

P3: set permissions for unauthenticated users specifically

P4: don't know, sorry, this version is to old

P5: yes, e.g. www.superska.net

Also, for the older sites, you might consider looking into upgrading them to the most current DNN versions (in a multi-step upgrade) to help resolve some of the items.

Hi Guys

P1: I did the following but when I now go to view site log, it comes up with this error:
“Your Hosting Provider Has Disabled the Site Log History Feature For Your Portal”

P5: the site seems to be down (Service Unavailable) www.superska.net

Thank you
Bradley

While not free, Ventrian's Simple Gallery is by far my favorite image gallery module. Add to this a VERY reasonable annual subscription buys you access to his whole library of modules (Simple Gallery, Property Agent, News Articles, etc) and you have yourself one of the must-haves for any DNN admin / developer.
