I'm looking for a way to have the user's profile "expire" after a year so that they have to review and update their profile.

One idea that I've come up with is to add a "required" profile field that holds the date and then create a service that rolls thru the users and clears the date field after a year.

Any suggestions?  I think it's odd that this hasn't been done before.  Also, there isn't a "last updated date/time" field for the user's profile.

Anyone???

There's a "LastUpdatedDate" field in the aspnet_Profile table, but it's not used.

I could add a custom property, "LastUpdated", but the user would have to manually enter the datetime.  Or, is there a way to set the default value to Now()?  Could I use some sort of regex statement for this?
