Going through my event logs, i'm seeing lots of Application Shutting Down's with a message of:

Shutdown Details: AppDomain shutdown because of hosting environment.

1) Is this something that I should be concerned about

2) Is there a fix?

Thanks,

Rob

typically this isn't an issue, app domains are automatically shut down after 20 minutes of inactivity, or else whenever asp.net triggers a restart i.e. after editing the web.config or altering the bin folder etc. If you have other unexpected appdomain shutdowns there can be a variety of reasons - http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&q=AppDomain+shutdown+because+of+hosting+environment&meta= will give you a feel pointers.
