I am having an issue with my hyperlink formating, when I put a hyperlink in the txt/html module no matter what font size or color or anything I tell it, it shrinks the text and just treats the link like it wants to instead of what I select.  It seems like something is over-riding my selection, I was thinking maybe a css file or something somewhere in DNN, does anyone know how I can fix this or where the problem originates?

Also I wanted to add a txt/html box and maybe a couple other modules to the registration page and was wondering how I can go about doing this.

If these questions have already been answered I'm sorry I missed them, if you could send me a link to the answer that would be great too.

Thanks

Any suggestions?  Any help would be appreciated, especially with the hyperlink issue, it ruins the look of the page.

Thanks

Your links are most likely being formatted by a class set in the skin.css.  You would need to identify what css class controls the font choice and size for the links, and modify it in your skin.css document.  Of couse then you will need to repack your skin and upload it again to your portal.  Below I have linked a document which better outlines the steps necessary to make modifications to your site's skin.  You can edit your skin.css in any web editing program or Windows notepad.  If you are using an application such as notepad be sure that the css file saves with the .css file extension.

You can add modules to various containers through the DNN control panel.  The following link explains how to access the DNN control panel and shows some screen shots of it:

Thank you for the information.  The skin editing is something that I was hoping I wouldn't have to do but I guess that is the only answer to this problem.  As for adding the module, I understand adding modules to pages but the registration page is a bit different, for example when you are logged in as administrator you do not have a register button because you are logged in.  Therefore even getting to the register page while you have edit permissions is not easy, if it is indeed possible. That is why I was asking about adding txt/html to that particular page.

Found the info on changing the registration page, here it is in case anyone else needed this answer  http://www.dnncreative.com/Forum/tabid/88/view/topic/postid/204/forumid/12/tpage/1/Default.aspx

Still hoping to not have to edit the skin css, so if that answer is out there great.  But I gonna start trying to edit the css and see if I make any progress.
