I am new to DNN and am still trying to figure eveything out.  I am running a website that sells subscriptions and I would like to have a new customer be able to pay for their subscription through paypal and then get instant access to the member area of the website.  Anyone had anyluck with integrating paypal?

I am hosting with Godaddy, and I would like to add some new modules like the storefront.  I go into my hosting account with godaddy and can't find my folder where DNN is installed.  How can I add modules?  Thanks a million to anyone who can offer assistance/advice.  I love DNN, very very well put together portal software.

Any sort of godaddy hosting control panel does not help you add a modue.  You need to go to your actual DNN website, login as host, goto Host - Module Definitions, and click 'Upload New Module'.  This will allow you to select a module install/PA (zip file) to upload.

Word to the wise, before you get too deep into DNN hosted by godaddy.  My site is hosted there as well and it was trial and error to figure how to configure and load everything properly.  These are hints and by no means the end all be all of how to deal with godaddy/DNN.  I am not a programmer, but have learned a lot about DNN while trying to build a site hosted at godaddy, and sometimes it made me wish I was a programmer.

The godaddy DNN install is not the latest DNN release.  And it is not even the latest 3.x.x release.  You would be better off to install your own version of DNN and it is real easy.  There are instructions from a site that doesn't appear to be up, but you can find the instructions in one of the forum topics here. (Search godaddy install)

Godaddy does not have very good techsupport for DNN.  I would recommend calling them with any host related issues, but they are probably not going to have the correct answer in regards to DNN.  Again search these topics for answers.

Finally, there is no access to the the database.  To easily retrieve info use the SQL module in the host menu.

Good luck.
