Hi,

I have a File system Secured folder and wanted to upload a large file there. So I did.

Then I renamed it ro .resources and tried to synchronize file system from the web site.

DNN just denies to see that file.

If I upload it using DNN, it works. But it's not a choice for me just because of the file is too large for that.

So what should I do to push DNN to see that file? (Please don't tell me to add a record to DB. It is for not technical users. There's no me next to them).

Thanks,
Dmitriy.

I suggest as a workaround to upload the file in an unsecured folder and move it using DNN file manager into the secure folder. HTH.

Hi Sebastian,

Thanks for the help. It worked. Additionally I had to add the upload extension to allow DNN pick that file.

A quick question. How to quickly obtain a link to the file from File Manager?

I'm creating links by going inserting the links into Text/HTML module on some page, then copy-paste it. What's the easier way?

Cheers,
Dmitriy.
