I mistakenly deleted the initial Search Result page that comes with the dnn installation..

When I add a new search result module in a page back to the site, the search input box on the menu bar no longer directs it to the page that I add the new search result module. But the search input module I add to the dnn installation directs it to the search result page correctly.

How do I get the search input filed in the menu bar to direct the result to the search result page?

make sure, there is exactly 1 search results module on any of your portal's pages (including those in the recycle bin)!

Thanks  Sebastian Leupold

The problem fixed itslef this morning (I turned off the box last night). The search inputbox on the menu bar directs the search results correctly to the search results page.

Can you explain what happened to me?  If it happens again, what should I do to get it working besides restarteing?
