I am not sure but I think I remember reading somewhere that in a near future release of DNN there will be the ability to give specific user groups access to the mass mailing facility and the users facility etc. Can someone tell me if I was imagining this or if I did infact read this. If i am correct was this in the 4.08.04 release or is it planned for later release?

Thanks

One of the big features in DNN 5.0 is that many of the admin-only modules are now availble to be used like regular modules.  This is probably what you are thinking of, though it isn't out yet.

Hope that helps,

this feature will be part of DNN 5.0.0, which will be released, when it is ready and tested.

First, there will be release of DNN 4.9.0, RC1 is currently being tested.

It's nice to see a steady flow of releases for DNN. I can't wait until V5 comes out :D
